Kumu Hula Kimo Kahihikolo Miranda
Aloha Mai kākou! My name is Kimo Kahihikolo Miranda. While being born on O’ahu island, my family lineage actually has roots that flow from Kaua'i island. All the while, I am a proud "Hilo boy" through and through. I was fortunate enough to be adopted and raised by a loving, single dad, as well as my great grandmother who strived to give me a life worthy of my ancestors, and hopefully worthy of those who are reading this. I am one of three Kumu Hula of Hālau Ha’a Kea ‘o Kinohi. I’ve been dancing for Kumu Hula Nui Paul Neves for almost 20 years in the Keaukaha Hawaiian Homestead area. I’m a proud graduate of Ke Kula ʻo Nāwahīokalani’ōpu’u Hawaiian Immersion School in Kea’au, Hawai’i. Through Kumu Nui Paul Neves instruction, I’ve grown great love for Hawaiian culture, hula, and storytelling. I will strive to tell many more stories with the world while uplifting our Hawaiian culture and heritage. Please join us and start your Hula journey today! Our stories are not yet finished.
